OMG!

Mom - Just saw Melanie at Francescas in Norman. Sorry ladies but I froze. I was way too chicken to talk to her!! But, she smells really good and is tiny in real life.

I can't believe you actually saw Melanie at Francescas!  You deserve the sighting since you have been the most productive "P.I." on our team.  Perhaps our fearless leaders should offer you some type of award...I think a gift certificate from Caymans is in order.  Well done, Shannon, well done.

I am so sorry that I have been away from my post and could not be the first to CONGRATULATE! you on your actual viewing of our main stalkee and star, Melanie Griffith. Of course, you froze! You do not have the years of overcoming decorum that we, the old people, have learned in our lifetimes. Sometimes you just have to go for it ... I could bore you with my encounter with Diana Krall and Elvis Costello in a restaurant in NYC ... a story that causes my daughter, Hannah, to cringe with sickness and embarrassment to this very day. But I managed to overcome all squeamishness and actually get her to hug me by groveling up to her. That's what you can aspire to in the years to come.

In the meantime, we have to get on Sienna Miller, who I do not think must be here yet (or maybe ever). Wish we could get a feel for the storyline ... I'll check online to see if I can glean further information in that department.

Also, you can take a bit of a rest because you have fulfilled our wildest expectations ... I keep thinking that she, Melanie, will actually be seated somewhere for hours, so that we can get the phone tree going and everyone can get there and slowly walk past her while pretending to go to the bathroom. Or I will probably just go up to her and start babbling about how wonderful I think she is ... believe me this woman wants to be recognized a little bit and be admired for who SHE is, not just because she's married to Tony!!!! I can do that for her.
