I just wish we could get it to Melanie. She would probably die laughing and and have a huge boost, which is what we all would love for her. She is great and a lovely person. I mean, what an ambassador for Hollywood!! She was so kind and gentle and pleasant wherever she went. Just lovely, tiny and smelling beautifully. We want to honor her for being the epitome of what we would dream of a Hollywood star in our midst. And she more than met that criteria. I say, get this to her somehow. She will be thrilled!!!

I truly don't know what to say. I think if we try we could possibly find someone else to stalk. Maybe if you were to give me Hanna's address in NYC I could perch outside her doorstep, bribe the door man for some juicy info or some worthy info you could use against her to force her to come home for a visit or two? Is that too much? I'm willing.
Either way I've immortalized your great leadership skills in this blog for the world to enjoy. Be sure and scroll all the way down to the bottom and read your way up. If we've offended anybody, then we have had at least some modicum of success.

Take heart, you will always be our fearless leader when an A,B,C or D celeb. comes to town. We may need to appoint "minor" co-leaders for those occasions when relatives of celebrities come to our fair city...I have a few nominations in mind. So in the mean time, let's continue to hone our "stalking" skills so we will be ready for our next assignment. I enjoyed the ride and for a brief time had a little "pep" in my step in hopes that I too may have had a

I don't know what to say. I feel that I may just shave and be done with it. All the energy, the typing, the shout outs. Is this it? I mean I was all set for the disgusting events at Reeves Park. Been to the tattoo parlor, done. Grabbed a baby with only a diaper, done. Began smoking again since I have the drinking part down (as you were so kind to mention). Daisy Dukes for Steven and myself, done. Wife beaters for Steven and myself, done. Have not brushed teeth or hair for several days already and kinda starting to like it. About to approach skinny, shifty-eyed, scary-looking young man for some crack or maybe roofies, depending on what he had, just to kind of blend in with the rest of America ... and get into the whole hallucinatory feel, happy I did not actually get that done. My life is now over, as we speak. I CAN'T BELIEVE WE DIDN'T GET A VIEWING!!!!!! You may send the blog on to whomever you see fit. I also cannot believe you are going to be gone on the 4th ... and in NYC at that ... well... ... ... ... ... SIENNA MILLER, HERE WE COME!!!!!!

they don't call us the city of fairs, festivals and carnivals for nothing..
Ladies,
It has come to my attention that we have an incredible opportunity awaiting us. As you know we ARE the city of Fairs, Festivals and Carnivals. That is why they chose good ole Norman to be the city of choice for the filming of this movie. What better place for "drug hallucination scenes" than some of our events? Most importantly we have the "mother lode" or "mecca" of events coming up. You know it, let's say it together....... 4th of July at Reeves Park! What better place to film one of these scenes??? Seriously, I just have a feeling they will be there. So, I am calling out to all of you to get ready for this big event. Ladies, it's time for your husbands to STOP shaving!! In particular their backs. We need facial hair and body hair in order to blend in with the locals that show up to celebrate in our "fair" city. (pun intended). I know most of you have already stopped shaving anticipating the impending circus scene, so you should be fine. Ladies, I'm calling for you to pull out your matching cut off jean shorts, find that halter top, get the wife beaters.... it's time! Start smoking, drinking (well, Mary you have been practicing already, so this is not directed at you), DON"T SHAVE, don't brush your teeth or hair. Grab you grandchildren.... get them out there with nothing but a diaper, no shoes, no shirt, no sunscreen & for Gods sake give them a cigarette butt to chew on!! .... Come on ladies, you know what I'm talking about!
And finially... Mary, there is a tattoo shop on main street that will tattoo STEVEN in olde english right down your forearm!!! YOU CAN DO THIS! It's for the cause.

I will have them on the look out for any and all persons of fame, since I wouldn't recognize anyone anyway. It's hysterical, we cannot get a hold of this person (Melanie) and she would love us and have the time of her life ... plus be recognized for who SHE is, not just Antonio's wife. We may have a plan. Chris P has joined the group and has graciously accepted the idea of having a soiree at her home for Melanie. I have not discussed this with her after the several drinks we shared at a location not to be mentioned. All we have to do is locate her (Melanie) or an address to send her an invite. I think she will be thrilled to have some contemporaries to talk with and also some mild adoration from people who aren't just interested in Antonio. I would like to see this come to pass as we do not have any idea how much longer she will remain here in our very hot (temperature) town. I don't know who to tell to get on it, but I strongly suggest someone "GET ON IT"!!!
Further, I have a little bit of a bone to pick with our Norman fellowship. As everyone knows, etiquette has reached a new low in our lifetime with the appearance of the cell phone. Never have so many people been so ill mannered with so little a piece of electronics, or whatever it is. One cannot shop peacefully at Wal Mart without hearing about some illiterate nincompoop's life with her tatooed boyfriend or what sort of jockey shorts some sad individual is buying for their dirtbag husband.
Yet!!!!! Melanie Griffith continues to appear time after time in our little (very stifling) town and these cell phone addicts who cannot stay off the gd phone while you and I are trying to have a peaceful mani pedi or peruse the shelves at Barnes and Noble, have suddenly been unable to text or call their (so called) friends and family to announce a siting! I call this UNACCEPTABLE and am beginning to have a real fury against these people. What the hell is going on???
Shannon, not meaning to call you out, come on, could you not have called or texted your "friends" while you were at Franchesca's???? I mean Becky, were your hands frozen???? Trudy, do you not go to the bathroom and call everyone you know? Where is the fricking loyalty here??? I, for one, (as Mary -the other one- would say) would be calling and texting like a lunatic if I had a siting that looked like more than five minutes. You folks are somewhat of a disappointment!!!
On the one hand we are so grateful that you have seen the actress and can actually verify her presence ... and how she smells. On the other hand we are thinking ... why didn't they call??? It's a mixed emotion thing. We are a little bit pissed off. Yes, granted, we are lazy and hot and cannot conceive of actually tracking this person or "persons" (we have no idea at this point) ourselves, yet we want to be included in the experience when someone actually has a viewing. We feel we are owed this because we are the ones, presumably, who got the whole hysteria going ... Throw us a bone!!! Call us, or call someone who can call us ... we are desperate here! Just a"Shout Out" to all those who are so caught up in their selfish lives that they forget to summon their elders or crazy people who want to know...

Well, I am in mourning for my daughter, Claire, (who hates me). Melanie Griffith finally came in to BCBG at Dillard's today and was waited on (we hope) gratiously by the BCBG employees. However, Claire was not scheduled for the day and missed the viewing. She had been waiting with baited breath for weeks for this to occur and has been very unhappy about the sitings at Cayman's and The Webb, etc. Very competitive and feeling that BCBG was not getting it's justified acknowledgement. Well, it finally occurred and she was not there to witness the event. So ... there is a lesson to be learned here. And I hope you know what it is........?

I could not get her to be more specific as she finds even talking to me to be repellent. Heather is from OKC and is married to the director, Nick Cassavetes. She is also the writer-producer, I think. Anyway, we do not know her or anything about her, unless you have seen her in the various films, etc. my daughter claims she has been involved with. Claire says that when the movie comes out she will be extremely famous and we will all be sorry we were chasing around looking for these other people. She has also been in BCBG at Dillard's.

Ladies!!!
New set of castmembers. No mention yet, of who is playing what, or exactly where it is all being filmed ... they continue to say only Oklahoma. Riley Keough is Lisa Marie Presley's daughter who is also a model. Gorgeous. Yesterday, while sleuthing at On A Whim, I learned that they are shooting in Paul's Valley, Shawnee, OKC and another place I can't remember, but will let you know when I do. It's another place 'out there' in the hinterlands. Eyes open now for David Morse, Luke Wilson, Hank Azaria and Riley Keough ... as well as Sienna Miller, Ray Liotta and, of course, our sweet Melanie. Look sharp and get out there even though it's a nauseating 100 degrees. We owe it to ourselves because we have no lives and this is the greatest thing to come along in months. I am, meanwhile, still trying to get hairier for a part in the hallucinating scenes. Leaving the elephant rides to precious Sharon and Belinda, who will do us proud ... the cuties!!!!

I am so sorry that I have been away from my post and could not be the first to CONGRATULATE! you on your actual viewing of our main stalkee and star, Melanie Griffith. Of course, you froze! You do not have the years of overcoming decorum that we, the old people, have learned in our lifetimes. Sometimes you just have to go for it ... I could bore you with my encounter with Diana Krall and Elvis Costello in a restaurant in NYC ... a story that causes my daughter, Hannah, to cringe with sickness and embarrassment to this very day. But I managed to overcome all squeamishness and actually get her to hug me by groveling up to her. That's what you can aspire to in the years to come.
In the meantime, we have to get on Sienna Miller, who I do not think must be here yet (or maybe ever). Wish we could get a feel for the storyline ... I'll check online to see if I can glean further information in that department.
Also, you can take a bit of a rest because you have fulfilled our wildest expectations ... I keep thinking that she, Melanie, will actually be seated somewhere for hours, so that we can get the phone tree going and everyone can get there and slowly walk past her while pretending to go to the bathroom. Or I will probably just go up to her and start babbling about how wonderful I think she is ... believe me this woman wants to be recognized a little bit and be admired for who SHE is, not just because she's married to Tony!!!! I can do that for her.

Glad to hear my daughter has the most up to date news! So sorry I had to hear it from Mary since Shannon did not include me in on the email update. I guess my (almost) sighting of the truck on Hwy 9 was so embarrassing to the family that she removed me from her list. I will try to not disgrace the family again. I didn't get the picture attachment either so I guess I'll have to creep on her twitter page and see what I can find out. The things a mother has to do!

Okay fellows, I have been off duty due to various social engagements over the weekend and Father's Day ... I agree wholeheartedly Shannon has by far exceeded our wildest dreams in finding this information. And many, many kudos for the Wayne Coyne info, which should have been provided by Carolyn and proves that she is too tight-lipped to be on this list. I have heard that he is extremely nice and friendly and am happy to have this verified for our dear Shannon ... who is so cool and deserves to be treated thus. My sister, you may remember, claimed she thought they were filming on her street ... I thought she was "having a laugh (as Ricky Gervais would say), but no, it seems they have been in Nichol's Hills across from the park or in the park. This is pathetic news compared to what we have just read, but Joycie and I are headed out today to find what we can to add to this riveting drama.

Also, he said that there have been some strange

I have been "asleep at the wheel". I sent a few of the e-mails to Emily to see if she had any sightings or scoop from OKC. She reminded me that she told me she sat by the director at one of the playoff Thunder Games. Said he was very nice and filming in Norman at the Riverwind Casino-maybe other spots-not sure. She said they loved the playoff games-went to all of them - so at least the director, etc (maybe not the stars) have been in the area awhile. Maybe a swing by Riverwind to cool off and play a few slots might be helpful!! When my neighbor gets back from Tenn. I will definitely assign her to Riverwind since she is there almost daily and has great detective skills!! I apologize once again for being such a "movie star dud". This will be great therapy for me!

Jules has unselfishly handed over her last "at home" child for what we are considering to be the "tour de force" of the whole movie, whereby K joins the entire cast in a show-stopping dance-a-thon. Mary (the other one) has made untold humiliating sacrifices (her children mock her) ... as well as myself. If you do not think that your grandson, Jack, is worthy of a cameo of some sort, then I truly feel for your grandmotherly instincts. Melanie Griffiths has had a butload of children with her various spouses ... from Don Johnson to Antonio Banderos. Believe me, she is a soft touch in this department! I say get yourself and your grandson out to some Norman/Paul's Valley sites. Sitting at home playing Spider Man is not going to get it. Get him in the fricking car and hit the streets. Throw him out if you see something and act as if you had no idea that your adorable grandson was gifted enough to appear in the middle of their production.

Okay Mary! This is the spirit we want to see from our Norman girls! Mom, I have been to all these Norman establishments in the last week and have seen NO ONE that is famous. And yes mom, you are terrible at recognizing famous people, as well as getting their names correctly. Isabella Rossellini is a very famous person, but not so much Isabella Rosselli...I have told every person I know that lives within the okc metro of this movie and the men are salivating over the prospect of "running into" Sienna Miller. Brett , a person most likely to meet these people was literally hitting himself in the head last night just thinking about Ms Miller. I will casually stop through Pauls Valley to see if I can find this damn movie...I am now a girl on a mission. And so is every man between the ages of 18 and 85 that I have told. we are trying to resolve that for you and actually get you a life. First of all, I have two words for you ... PAUL'S VALLEY... supposedly where filming is occurring.
You may possibly be the first one (with your sharp as a tack, gorgeous daughter) to check out the action. All she has to do is flip her hair around and act confused and they will probably cast her in the film. And I am not kidding here. We have to use every asset we have at hand. I would take Claire, but she would probably want to sing something from "Les Miserables" and embarrass us ... as if we can't do that by ourselves! Your task, this weekend and next week is to find the site or sites where we can begin gathering to annoy them ... even though we don't mean to. They may have the weekend off ... Of course it goes without saying that we will be discreet, polite, nearly invisible in our attempts to get close-ups of the stalkee and whatever surgical procedures she may have pursued in her lifetime. It's okay. We know they are out there. Kathy from L V says they are going to be here for quite a while. Melanie is taking Yoga at Kathy's studio behind the Sooner Theatre (place to stalk). Melanie seems to be the out and about one, but Sienna Miler can just blend in with the younger people ...stalking for Shan. Also Sienna drinks and Melanie is in recovery and can't party. She is hip and cool and funky and unattached, as far as I can ascertain. Wants to be where it's happening ... I don't think it's happening in Norman, but I could be wrong. All the more reason to stay on the ball and get the people out there!!!!! I wouldn't put it past some of the "younger, wealthier, exercise and facial surgery fanatics" (and you know who I mean) to be concocting little get togethers or fly-aways on their private planes. Also heard that they are staying at the "*x#$%" ...ewww. Maybe just the crew, but heard they rented out the whole place. That's all for today. Keep on it, we will find something. The filming sites have got to be somewhere nearby.

Get some folks and get on this now! Who the hell is this friend and where in the hell did she see Melanie Griffith???? We need solid information and some true detective work. None of this, "We're too polite to ask where the heck you guys are staying and where the heck the movie is being filmed". I suspect the bed and breakfast by the Library and also, many of the crew are out at the coffee shops and restaurants around campus.
Melanie is obviously hitting the shops all over town as well as doing Yoga. We haven't heard a snippit about Sienna Miller, but she's probably dying from the heat and withdrawal from NYC and London. Hannah says the star is someone we probably don't know and isn't here, so this may all be for nothing ... or it's some background or flashback stuff. Who knows? Let your imagination soar. On it, peeps!!!

The costumer is buying tons of clothes at BCBG in Dillard's, where Claire is the manager. Do you think this is a hoax or true? I would like to find out if it's true and, if so, stalk the actors involved. You people with contacts need to find out (Jeanne, Carolyn, Tracy, et al). Also, the producer is supposedly from our state and female. Get on it you guys!
